After seeing a workshop presentation of MONEY, CBC Fresh Air host Ismaila Alfa invited Rick Miller in the Toronto studio to speak about the play, the process, and the timeliness of the work.

It tells the story of how money, power and technology are shaping the future of human civilization. A futuristic melodrama about love, loss, trust and betrayal.

MONEY aims to move the needle on one of the most important conversations of our time: how do we preserve democracy, and live together more equitably, peacefully, and sustainably? A big question that stirs up big emotions, which is why we need storytellers to get to the heart of it.
